This help article is for your bookkeeping and accounting firm if the following conditions apply:
- You have multiple employees that wish to use the ScanSnap & LedgerDocs integration
- You are using one communal scanner
- You wish to change the account destination company in LedgerDocs from individual LedgerDocs accounts
Connecting ScanSnap and LedgerDocs for the first time

Changing the ScanSnap Destination Company in a different LedgerDocs account
- Open the ScanSnap Cloud application on your PC and login to the account associated with your scanner
Windows
- In the ScanSnap Cloud window, click Tools, > Options
- From the pop-up menu, go to Scan Settings > Change
- Find and click the ‘LedgerDocs’ service and a login prompt will ask for your LedgerDocs credentials
- Click on the destination company & Save, then close the Options menu and you’re ready to scan
Mac
- In the top left corner, click ScanSnap Cloud > Preferences
- From the pop-up menu, go to Scan Settings > Change
- Find and click the ‘LedgerDocs’ service and a login prompt will ask for your LedgerDocs credentials
- Click on the Destination Company & Save, close the Preferences menu and you’re ready to scan
Changing the ScanSnap Destination Company within the same LedgerDocs account
