This help article is for your bookkeeping and accounting firm if the following conditions apply:
 

  1. You have multiple employees that wish to use the ScanSnap & LedgerDocs integration
  2. You are using one communal scanner
  3. You wish to change the account destination company in LedgerDocs from individual LedgerDocs accounts

Connecting ScanSnap and LedgerDocs for the first time

Changing the ScanSnap Destination Company in a different LedgerDocs account
 

  • Open the ScanSnap Cloud application on your PC and login to the account associated with your scanner

 
Windows

  • In the ScanSnap Cloud window, click Tools, > Options
  • From the pop-up menu, go to Scan Settings > Change
  • Find and click the ‘LedgerDocs’ service and a login prompt will ask for your LedgerDocs credentials
  • Click on the destination company & Save, then close the Options menu and you’re ready to scan

 
Mac

  • In the top left corner, click ScanSnap Cloud > Preferences
  • From the pop-up menu, go to Scan Settings > Change
  • Find and click the ‘LedgerDocs’ service and a login prompt will ask for your LedgerDocs credentials
  • Click on the Destination Company & Save, close the Preferences menu and you’re ready to scan
