There are two ways to create a new Company in LedgerDocs:

Method 1:  Right click on the “Bookkeeping” title on the far left column of the screen. You will see a “Create Company” box appear. Click on it.
 

  • Choose between creating a Bookkeeping or TaxDocs company.
  • Next, type in the name of the new Company, then press enter.
  • Assign an email address for documents to get uploaded to this Company's folder (optional).

Your new company will appear in the appropriate category type (Bookkeeping or TaxDocs.)

Method 2: From any view you are able to create a Company on the top left corner of the screen, next to the search bar. Simply click on the + Add Company button to get started.

After this the method to input the data for the new Company is the same as found in Method #1.
 

  • Choose between creating a Bookkeeping or TaxDocs company.
  • Next, type in the name of the new Company, then press enter.
  • Assign an email address for documents to get uploaded to this Company's folder (optional).

 

Your new company will appear in the appropriate category type (Bookkeeping or TaxDocs.)
